The Amethyst Robe is an armor item that can be worn in the shirt slot. It is part of the Wizard set and is the weakest type of gem robe.

Wearing the Wizard Hat alongside the Amethyst Robe provides a set bonus of +10% magic critical strike chance, whereas wearing a Magic Hat alongside it provides a set bonus of +60 mana. Any leg-slot equipment can be worn with these set bonuses remaining intact.

Notes

• When any Gem Robe is equipped in an armor slot without a Wizard Hat, Tim's spawn rate will be increased to 5 times.
• This item is the armor analog to the Amethyst Staff.

Trivia

• The Amethyst Robe is one of the three items which provide bonuses when equipped in an armor slot but have a defense value of zero. The others are Wood Greaves (provides 1 point of defense if full set is equipped) and Djinn's Curse (provides immunity to fall damage).
