Trivia

  • This set references one of the representative works of Spike Chunsoft (the publisher of the Japanese version of Terraria), the Shiren the Wanderer series. This set was added as a replacement for the Plumber's set due to copyright concerns over the latter costume. As such, the method of obtaining both sets is completely identical.[2]
  • Since this set is exclusive to Japanese Console version Japanese Console, it has only Japanese name and no official English name. The meaning of its Japanese name is "Wanderer's costume".
    • The Japanese name of this set is "ふうらいにんの衣装" when transliterated into Japanese kanji as "風来人の衣装" (Furainin no Ishō, Furainin's costume), where "風来人" (Furainin) has the same meaning with "風来坊" (ふうらいぼう) in Japanese, means a traveler with unknown identity and no fixed abode, which is similar to the meaning of "Wanderer" in English.
    • The Japanese name of the Shiren Hat in this set is "さんどがさ" when transliterated into Japanese kanji as "三度笠" (Sandogasa), refers to the hat worn by traveling merchants and monks in Japan.
    • The Japanese name of The Shiren Shirt is "ふうらいにんのふく" when transliterated into Japanese kanji as "風来人の服" (Furainin no Fuku), means Furainin's skirt.
    • The Japanese name of The Shiren Pants is "ふうらいにんのこしあて" when transliterated into Japanese kanji as "風来人の腰当" (Furainin no Kusiate), means Furainin's waistband.
