The Alchemy Flask is a post-Skeletron crafting station used to craft potions. It has the same effect as the Alchemy Table when crafting potions: 1/3 (33.33%) chance for each ingredient not to be consumed. It is crafted by throwing an Alchemy Table into the Shimmer.

Pressing the ⚷ Open / Activate key on Alchemy Flask opens its crafting menu and grants the Alchemic Enhancement buff, which increases the duration of certain buffs by 20% (see Notes for complete list).[1] The duration increase only applies to newly received buffs; existing buffs' duration will not be changed. This lasts until the player dies or leaves the world, but can be canceled at any time by right-clicking the icon (Desktop version), by selecting the icon using Cycle Next/Previous Buff and then pressing Remove Buff (Console version), or by double-tapping the buff icon (Mobile version).

  • The Alchemy Flask will only extend buff duration for the following buffs:[2]
