Ash Wood armor is a pre-Hardmode armor set consisting of the Ash Wood Helmet, Ash Wood Breastplate, and Ash Wood Greaves. Crafting the full set requires a total of 75 Ash Wood.

The full set grants the following effects while equipped:

Additionally, equipping both Ash Wood armor and the Obsidian Rose (or its upgrades) provides immunity to lava damage and the debuff.[1]

Notes

  • Equipping both Ash Wood armor and Obsidian Rose will still consume the lava immunity time granted by lava immunity items.
  • In Don't dig up and Get fixed boi worlds, the Ash Wood armor receives the following changes:
    • Each set piece only has 1 defense, for a total of 3.
    • The set bonus reduces lava damage from 200 to 72,[1] a decrease of 64% instead of only 50%.
    • The set bonus reduces the duration of the On Fire! debuff to 7 / 14 / 17.5 seconds.[1] This is the same absolute decrease as in other worlds, but the relative bonus is only a 33.33% decrease instead of 50% since the debuff normally lasts for 10.5 / 21 / 26.25 seconds in Don't dig up and Get fixed boi.
