The Bat Bat is a pre-Hardmode broadsword that has a 1/300 (0.33%) chance of being dropped by any type of bat. When swung, it restores 1 health to the user upon hitting an enemy.[1]

On The Constant seed, the drop chance is increased to a 1/100 (1%) chance.

Its best modifier is Legendary.

    • Increased attack speed by 12.5%.
    • Drop chance from all bats reduced from 0.4% to 0.33%.
    • Bat Bat's tooltip now clarifies it always heals on hit rather than only sometimes.

    • Increased use time from 30 to 45.
    • Increased damage from 18 to 31.
    • Increased size by 15%.
    • Now restores 1 HP on every hit. Previously, it occasionally restored 5 HP, but no more than 10 HP within 12 seconds.
