The Black Belt is a Hardmode, post-Plantera accessory that grants a 1/10 (10%) chance to dodge an attack, including instances of damage taken from hazards such as traps and lava. A cloud of smoke surrounds the player when performing a dodge. The Black Belt has a 1/12 (8.33%) / 23/144 (15.97%) chance of being dropped by Bone Lees in the post-Plantera Dungeon.

Notes

  • The dodging chance does not stack with that of the Master Ninja Gear.
  • Any dye applied to the accessory will also affect most of the smoke particles from a dodge.

  • Desktop 1.4.4: "Instant kill" attacks will no longer be avoided by dodges.
  • Desktop 1.4.1: Fixed an issue where dodged attacks could still result in debuffs on the player.
