Tips

  • The Solar Eclipse is very suitable for farming Squids, since it highly increases the enemy spawn rate (almost as much as a Blood Moon). Notably, Solar Eclipse enemies cannot spawn in water. They are restricted to spawning on the nearby beach or in a cave below the seabed, and they rarely come into the Ocean water. Most of the time, the player will only fight the regular Ocean enemies with an increased spawn rate, and only very occasionally encounter a Solar Eclipse enemy.
    • Items that extend or eliminate the breath meter, such as the Diving Helmet or Neptune's Shell, allow the player to remain near the bottom of the Ocean (where Squids are encountered) for extended periods of time.
