Blinkroot Seeds are a type of seed that can be obtained from harvesting Blinkroots while they are blooming or using the Staff of Regrowth on naturally grown Blinkroots while they are fully grown. A Blinkroot plant switches between its blooming and non-blooming state at random. Its blooming state can be identified by the yellow dots on the ends of its fronds and the blinking light it emits. Each plant will drop 1–3 Blinkroot Seeds when harvested while blooming.

Blinkroot Seeds can be placed on Dirt and Mud Blocks, empty Clay Pots, or any types of Planter Boxes, and will grow into harvestable Blinkroots. They will grow anywhere, not just in the Underground, but will only yield seeds when blooming.
