Bows

Bows are ranged weapons that use arrows as ammunition. All bows will benefit from the bonuses of the Archery Potion, Magic Quiver and its upgrades, and the Shroomite Headgear.

The best modifier for bows is Unreal, with the exception of the Wooden Bow and early ore bows, whose lack of knockback make their best modifier Demonic or Rapid instead.

Types

There are 32 different types of bows, 11 of which are Hardmode-exclusive.
