The Burning Sphere is a projectile NPC that is fired by the Fire Imps in a volley of three, before teleporting to a different location and firing another volley. The projectile moves steadily in a straight line at 26 mph, passes through blocks unimpeded, emitting a fair amount of light. Upon striking a target, a Burning Sphere has a chance to inflict the On Fire! debuff. It can be easily destroyed by hitting it with any weapon or tool capable of dealing damage.

Trivia

• Internally, the Burning Sphere is considered an enemy, not a projectile. Therefore, it has an NPC ID and statistics like health and defense, unlike actual projectiles.
