Celebration Mk 10 (also known as the Birthday World or Anniversary World) is a special world seed. It celebrates Terraria's tenth birthday, May 16, 2021.

World generation changes

Overall

Desert

Ocean

  • The Ocean cave will always be generated in the Ocean at the same side as the Dungeon.

Other changes

While generating

Notes

  • Due to the way certain invasion mechanics work, invasion events like Goblin Army will only take place near the initial beach spawn point. Unlike normal worlds, being near Town NPCs will not cause invasion enemies to spawn around the player.
  • Goblin Scouts and the King Slime will spawn a third of the world away from the beach spawn, which means they spawn around the middle of the world and the opposite ocean.

Tips

  • Starting with the spawn at the Ocean may make the early game progression much harder if the player is on the Jungle side. However, starting on the Jungle side makes it easier to find the Aether.

Trivia

  • The names of the four non-pet starting NPCs in the Celebration Mk 10 seed are the names of four members of Re-Logic: Redigit (Andrew), Cenx (Whitney), Yoraiz0r (Yorai), and Safeman (Amanda).
  • Unlike most of the other secret seeds, the Celebrationmk10 seed is interpreted as a number, so any number of 0s can be added in the front (e.g. 000005162011). In addition, there are numerous unintended strings that generate this special seed (due to the use of the CRC-32 algorithm[15]), such as (case-sensitive):
  • Thirst of dress
  • engineer governor reproduction
  • inform Representative yorai
