The Charm of Myths is a Hardmode accessory which combines the effects of Band of Regeneration and Philosopher's Stone. When equipped, it regenerates (Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) 1 / (Old-gen console and 3DS versions) 0.5 health every second and decreases the Potion Sickness debuff duration by 25%. Therefore, 45 seconds after consuming a recovery potion while the Charm of Myths is equipped, another one can be consumed.

Notes

  • (Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) The reduction on the duration of Potion Sickness debuff is dynamically updated, meaning that equipping the Charm of Myths will proportionally decrease the duration of Potion Sickness, while unequipping it will proportionally increase the duration.
  • (Old-gen console and 3DS versions) The reduction on the duration of Potion Sickness debuff is determined when the potion is consumed. If the Charm of Myths is equipped when the potion is consumed, then the duration will be decreased by 25%, and unequipping it afterwards has no impact on the remaining duration.
  • (Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) The reduction effect works on the Restoration Potion's cooldown of 45 seconds as well, decreasing it to 33.75 seconds.
  • The Charm of Myths' duration reduction effect does not stack with Philosopher's Stone's.

History

  • Desktop 1.4.4: Potion Sickness reduction is no longer "front-loaded" at the time of using the potion. Instead, the cooldown is dynamically updated whenever the accessory is equipped. Equipping it will reduce the remaining cooldown proportionally, and removing it will increase the remaining cooldown proportionally.
  • Desktop 1.4.1: Increased healing gain from 0.5 HP per second to 1 HP per second.
