Coin rain is an event that consists of coins falling from the sky. During the event, Copper Coins, Silver Coins, and occasionally Gold Coins fall from the sky, and can be picked up by the player.

Details

• The chance for a Coin rain to occur is 1/25 (4%) when rain starts to fall.
  • The chance changes to 1/5 (20%) in worlds with Celebration Mk 10 but not For the Worthy Special seeds enabled.
  • The chance increases with more luck. Only the player with the highest luck has influence.
  • The event cannot occur in worlds with the Remix or Mole people special world seed enabled.
• Coins fall repeatedly, similar to Slime Rain.
• When the event occurs, the status message "Coins descend from the heavens!" appears in yellow text.
• It ends when the total value of coins dropped has reached a hidden value based on world size:
  • Small World: 75 GC – 1 PC50 GC
  • Medium World: 1 PC14 GC – 2 PC28 GC
  • Large World: 1 PC50 GC – 3 PC
• It can also prematurely end when rain stops or when it starts Storming.
  • The event will also be forced to end when there are more than 391 item entities active in the world.

The type and amount of coin that can fall varies between:

• 50 CC – 99 CC
• 25 SC – 99 SC
• 1 GC
