Crimson Seeds are seeds which can be planted on Dirt Blocks to create Crimson grass, which will then spread The Crimson in all directions. They drop from the Eye of Cthulhu and can be purchased from the Dryad for 5 SC each during a Blood Moon in a world with Crimson. In a world with Corruption, Crimson Seeds can be purchased from the Dryad if she is spoken to in a Hardmode Graveyard(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions).

Crimson Seeds can be used to farm Vicious Mushrooms and may be used to spread Crimson in Corrupt worlds. In the  Old-gen console version and Nintendo 3DS version, Crimson Seeds cannot be obtained within Corrupt worlds and must instead be brought over from a Crimson world.

On the no version, Crimson Seeds can also be planted on Mud Blocks to create Crimson Jungle grass.

Tips

• Crimson grass may also be obtained by planting regular grass and using Red Solution or Vicious Powder on it.
