It can also be found in Defiled Crates(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions).

Tips
- It is possible to obtain Cursed Flames in a world which was generated with Crimson by creating an artificial Underground Corruption. To do so, one can buy Corrupt Seeds from the Dryad during Hardmode while in a Graveyard, and use them to seed the Underground Corruption biome.
- Alternatively, one might simply bring the material from another world which has Corruption.
Trivia
- The Cursed Flame may be based on Greek fire, an incendiary weapon used by the Byzantine Empire that was able to burn almost anywhere and was used in naval warfare.
- It also may be based on the cursed green flames from "The Festival", a short story by H. P. Lovecraft.
- Spazmatism can shoot
Cursed Flame, but it will not drop Cursed Flame items. - The Cursed Flare is the only item made from Cursed Flame that does not have an Ichor variant.
