Cursed Piper Flute is a transformation mount that turns the player into a rat. While transformed, the player is subject to various changes:

  • Cannot use any item.
  • The rat can accelerate to speeds comparable to Hermes Boots without needing the item.
  • The rat has a small hurtbox, and can fit in 1 block gaps.
  • The rat can stick to walls by moving in the direction of the wall. Climbing up the wall by holding ▲ Up and descending by holding ▼ Down. Although the rat will slide down the wall when holding towards it. This can be mitigated by equipping Climbing Claws or Shoe Spikes, but does not require both.
  • The rat takes reduced fall damage.

It can be found in Ivy Chests.

Like other transformation mounts that reduce the player's size, if the player attempts to dismount in a place where they cannot fit, the dismount will fail. On the third attempt, the player will be teleported to the nearest open space and dismount. If there is no valid location within 25x25 blocks, the player will instead be teleported to their spawn point.

Tips

  • The rat can be transformed in and out of in combat, meaning players may use it to reduce their hitbox size when dodging large amounts of projectiles.
