Ebonwood armor is a pre-Hardmode armor set consisting of the Ebonwood Helmet, Ebonwood Breastplate, and Ebonwood Greaves. Crafting a full set requires a total of 75 Ebonwood. The full set grants 5 defense while equipped.

Its Crimson counterpart is Shadewood armor, which has identical stats.

Notes

  • (Old-gen console and 3DS versions) It is usually a good idea to craft the Cactus armor instead, since it has the same stats and only requires entering the Desert.
  • Ebonwood is initially obtainable in Corruption worlds only. An artificial Corruption biome can created using materials from another world or by buying Corrupt Seeds from the Dryad while in a Hardmode Graveyard(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions).

Trivia

  • The helmet appears to have spikes, which might be a reference to the Eater of Worlds' spikes, or devil horns.
