The Enchanted Pixie Dust is a Hardmode transformation mount that turns the player into a pixie on use. It is dropped by Pixies with a 1/200 (0.5%) chance after defeating any mechanical boss.[1] While in this form, the player will emit a dim light in a 15 block radius and gain infinite flight but lose their ability to use items; doing so will result in the player dismounting and returning to normal. While in pixie from, the player will occupy the space of 1 block and will move at a maximum speed of 24 mph (33 mph diagonally), under water and lava, speed will be halved, and in honey it will be 1/4.

Like other transformation mounts that reduce the player's size, if the player attempts to dismount in a place where they cannot fit, the dismount will fail. On the third attempt, the player will be teleported to the nearest open space and dismount. If there is no valid location within 25x25 blocks, the player will instead be teleported to their spawn point.

Tips

  • Using a swimming buff, such a Neptune's Shell or the later variants, will restore the movement speed to its maximum while in water, but only the Flipper Potion or Fishron Wings will restore it to its maximum in all liquids.

Trivia

  • If the player is named "Khaios", the color will change to black with green particles.
