The Falcon Blade is a pre-Hardmode broadsword that has a 38/625 (6.08%) chance of being obtained from Iron Crates and a 299/5000 (5.98%) chance from Mythril Crates.

Its best modifier is Legendary.

  • The Falcon Blade is a crossover item also found in the 2015 indie side-scrolling real-time strategy video game Pixel Piracy.
  • The Cutlass can be considered an upgrade to the Falcon Blade.
  • The Falcon Blade has a design that resembles a falchion, a one-handed, single-edged sword of medieval European origin.
    • In addition to this, the words falchion and falcon bear a close resemblance to each other.
