The Flipper Potion is a buff potion which grants the Flipper buff when consumed. The buff allows the player to move horizontally and vertically through water, lava, and honey without slowing down, and also allows the player to swim without equipping any swimming accessories, such as the Flipper. This lasts for 8 minutes, but can be canceled at any time by right-clicking the icon (Desktop version), by selecting the icon using Cycle Next/Previous Buff and then pressing Remove Buff (Console version), or by double-tapping the buff icon (Mobile version).
