I don't have time to work on it now (and shouldn't be taking time for this note :-) ), but ASCII art? Also, a lot of redundancy; some could be eliminated by starting with the info on lava depth from Base Defense, and referring to that as needed later. -MentalMouse42 (talk) 13:33, 15 November 2017 (UTC)

Regarding ocean farming

You can no longer stand in a puddle of water above the main source of water and trigger aggro on arapaima mobs. You must be in the main spawning body of water to trigger aggro without other aids.

Pls

Editing has been weird lately an I can't edit properly, so can someone add "remember to delete excess worlds" under world running because I forgot and I could barely load up some worlds and this was why. Colinzer (talk) 00:58, 7 December 2020 (UTC)

um

At the part where they say that you can put a thin layer of lava or some traps to kill statue spawned enemies set on a timer so you can afk farm, there is a problem with the lava and traps method of killing the enemies because it specifically states in pretty much all of the statue notes that the enemies will not drop things if killed by lava or traps. I'm not really sure which is wrong but either you can or can't get drops from statue spawned enemies. Thank you. I am not going to do the signature thing because I don't want my IP address shared and I don't want to make an account.

I assume this is because the guide hasn't been edited to update. You can get drops from statue enemies, but the chances are massively reduced. You are correct that the player must damage the enemies in order for them to be able to drop any items. 2057clones (talk) 15:53, 12 March 2021 (UTC)

/* granite */

why does the granite golem drop list from statue list old-gen console and 3DS being guaranteed to granite blocks even though granite doesn't exist in those versions?

Biome thing

I don't really understand how some enemies are spawning. For example, I have AFK farm with the snow/jungle biome, but Hornets don't spawn, however other Underground Jungle enemies like a Jungle Bat or a Jungle Slime do. There are also some snow enemies like Snow Flinx and Spiked Ice Slime (but not a usual one). How does this work properly? Maybe i should make the flooring of jungle grass blocks (right now it's gray brick flooring) to make hornets spawning? And why there are some usual Cavern enemies like Nymph or Dead miner but no Skeletons or Salamanders (there are salamanders and giant shellies in my world)? And yes, it's pre-hardmode.

blue - snow, green - jungle, gray - cavern, violet - granite
