The Heartreach Potion is a buff potion which grants the Heartreach buff when consumed. The buff increases the pickup range of life recovery Hearts by 15.625 tiles, from 2.625 tiles to a total of 18.25 tiles. This lasts for 8 minutes, but can be canceled at any time by right-clicking the icon (), by selecting the icon using Cycle Next/Previous Buff and then pressing Remove Buff (), by selecting the icon and canceling it in the equipment menu (), by double-tapping the buff icon (), or by canceling the buff from the buffs screen ().

Notes

• This potion can only be crafted in worlds with Crimson due to it requiring Crimson Tigerfish, although it can also be dropped from crates obtained from fishing.
• (Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) As of version 1.4.0.1, it is possible to naturally acquire a Heartreach Potion in a Crimson world by purchasing Crimson Seeds from the Dryad in a Hardmode Graveyard biome, and using the Crimson Seeds to make an artificial Crimson biome to fish in.

Tips

• The Heartreach Potion is especially useful during large-scale events such as the Pumpkin and Frost Moon, as the large amounts of Hearts dropped by mini-bosses or by specific enemies with likelier odds of dropping them can be collected much more quickly with the Heartreach buff active.

Trivia

• (Old-gen console and 3DS versions) Like the Rage Potion to the Wrath Potion, the Heartreach Potion may be seen as the Crimson counterpart to the Thorns Potion, as both give defensive buffs with imagery which references their respective biomes.
