Immune NPCs
Notes
- Enemies and players afflicted with Ichor are tinted golden. They will be visible in the dark but do not emit light.
- (Old-gen console and 3DS versions) Despite Ichor Stickers inflicting the Ichor debuff, they are not immune to the effect.
- (Old-gen console and 3DS versions) The debuff will not reduce an enemy's defense below 0.
Tips
- Because of its effect, Ichor is useful even in the late game, since very few enemies are resistant to it. It is especially useful against enemies with high defense (e.g. Skeletron Prime (especially during head-spins), Duke Fishron, etc.)
- A common tactic is to use an Ichor-inflicting weapon on an enemy, and then finish it off with the player's main weapon.
Trivia
- The damage increase from Ichor on the player changes depending on the world difficulty (Expert(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions)/Master Mode(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions)), due to how the effectiveness of defense changes with the difficulty.
- Ichor as a debuff may be a reference to Jarate from the 2007 first-person-shooter video game Team Fortress 2, both being yellow liquids causing those inflicted to take more damage, along with both being implied to be urine.
