The Invisibility Potion is a buff potion that grants the Invisibility buff when consumed. This lasts for 3 minutes, but can be canceled at any time by right-clicking the icon (
), by selecting the icon using Cycle Next/Previous Buff and then pressing Remove Buff (
), or by double-tapping the buff icon (
). The buff is furthermore immediately canceled if the player takes damage of any kind.
The buff provides the following effects:
- The player becomes invisible, including their armor, vanity items, and mount.
- −17% enemy spawn rates and −20% maximum enemy spawn count.
- −750 aggro,[a] meaning enemies will prefer to target other players, and many kinds of enemies will not chase after the player while they are not using items (see Aggro § Target chasing for details). This does not prevent enemies from firing projectiles at the player.
Attacking or using any item will cause the player to reappear temporarily and reduce the aggro reduction bonus to –250.
In addition to being crafted, Invisibility Potions can be found in Pots and Chests.

Notes
- Invisibility will never hide any lighting or particle effects from armor and other items. For example, the smoke effects from sprinting accessories and beetles from Beetle armor will still display. Minions, pets, and light pets will also remain visible. Moreover, the player's head will also be visible on the minimap to non-hostile players in multiplayer.
Trivia
- The buff being lost after damage is taken may be a reference to a common trope in which invisible characters lose their ability after being disoriented or caught.
