The Pumpkin Scented Candle is a Hardmode, post-Plantera light pet-summoning item that spawns a miniature Pumpking named Jack 'O Lantern to follow the player around. The Pumpkin Scented Candle is dropped by the Pumpking during the Pumpkin Moon event in Master Mode with a 12.5–25% chance depending on the current wave.[1] While equipped, not only does the pet produce light, but the player as well.[2]
