Legacy:Biome Chests

 

This is the Legacy page whose information relates to the article Biome Chests.
It applies only to the Old-gen console and 3DS versions of Terraria, detailing their differences from modern versions.

Only four Biome Chests (one of each type) will spawn in a particular world. There are five types of Biome Chests in total. The Desert Chest is absent, and the Chest corresponding to the Snow/Ice biome is called Frozen Chest.

Biome keys must be crafted using Key Molds dropped by enemies within their respective biome in order to open a Biome Chest.
