Notes

This content is transcluded from Toggles.

  • Toggles for Actuators and Wires have three states:
    • Bright: actuators/wires of this color will be always displayed at maximum brightness.
    • Classic: actuators/wires of this color will be displayed as normal, with their brightness affected by nearby light sources.
    • Faded: brightness is determined the same way as the Classic state, but actuators/wires of this color will also be semi-transparent.
  • The Mechanical Display toggle have two states:
    • Forced: all Actuators and Wires will be displayed regardless of item held, while their display method is determined by the respective toggle.
    • Normal: all Actuators and Wires will be displayed only if a mechanism-related item is held.
  • Unlike most accessories, informational accessories such as the Mechanical Lens do not need to be equipped in an accessory slot. The Mechanical Lens may be carried in the player's inventory without loss of functionality, unless equipped to a social slot. Additionally, the info it provides will be shared with players of the same team in multiplayer that are within 50 tiles. Keep in mind modifiers will no longer apply to the player when not equipped.
  • Having a Mechanical Lens while exploring the Dungeon, Jungle Temple, or deep underground caverns will reveal wires and show where dangerous traps are located. Carrying a Wire Cutter will allow for the disabling of these traps. The Grand Design combines these features.
