Not to be confused with Nightglow, the magic weapon.

Moonglow is a type of herb which appears as a bent stalk with a drooping blue-white flower. It grows naturally on regular Jungle grass. Moonglow can be harvested with virtually any weapon or tool, and can be planted manually using Moonglow Seeds in Clay Pots and Planter Boxes(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions), or on suitable soil tiles.

Moonglow blooms during nighttime (7:30 PM to 4:29 AM). Its blooming is indicated by the blue flower and blue-white light particles emitted. Harvesting blooming Moonglow yields 1 Moonglow item and 1–3 Moonglow Seeds. Harvesting mature or blooming Moonglow with the Staff of Regrowth or Axe of Regrowth(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) yields 1–2 Moonglows and 1–5 Moonglow Seeds instead. Note that these tools can only directly harvest mature stage herbs planted on soil; see Herbs § Growth for details.

Both Moonglow and Moonglow Seeds have a chance to be obtained from the Herb Bag(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions).
