Tips

  • It is much more efficient to farm for the Nazar in pre-Hardmode via Cursed Skulls, as the Hardmode Dungeon is overcrowded with other mob spawns.

Trivia

  • A nazar is an eye-shaped charm commonly found in the Middle East meant to ward away a superstitious curse called the Evil eye, believed to be cast by a malevolent, envious, or admiring gaze (depending on the culture), causing misfortune or injury (usually unintentionally) to the afflicted. The word nazar is derived from the Arabic نظر meaning sight or seeing; in this case it means glare.

History

  • Desktop 1.4.4: Can now be converted into a Megaphone and back via Shimmer.
