La Pintura se utiliza para modificar el color de los objetos. Casi todo puede ser pintado, incluyendo bloques, paredes, y muebles, junto con el entorno de objetos no coleccionable como los árboles, la hierba alta, las flores, y otros crecimientos ambientales. La pintura básica se le compra al PNJ Pintor. Dos del mismo color pueden ser combinados en un Dispensadore de Tinte para crear colores más "profundos", que aplican su color más vívidamente y son necesarios para pintar ciertos objetos.

La pintura se aplica a los bloques y a los muebles con la Brocha, y a las paredes con el Rollo de Piintura, con cada bloque consumiendo un cubo de pintura. El Spray de intura pintará automáticamente los objetos cuando los coloques. La pintura puede ser quitada con el Limpiador de pintura, aunque nunca será recuperada al hacerlo. Destruir un bloque pintado tampoco hará que se vaya el color de pintura.

Si hay más de un color presente en el inventario del jugador, se utiliza primero el color de la primera ranura de inventario (empezando por la ranura superior izquierda).

Variaciones

La pintura básica se le compra al Pintor Por 25 CC cada cubo (excepto la Pintura Oscura (50 CC) y la pintura negativa (75 CC), que sólo están disponibles en el Modo Duro).

Notas

• Painted blocks and walls will show up in the minimap, letting you mark the map (assuming you use enough Paint of the designated color).
• Painting doors costs less Paint if painting the doors while they are closed, (3 Paint for closed door, 6 for open).
  • It is also possible to apply Paint to 3 random spots of an open door, close it, and re-open it. This will paint the entire door.
• Painting a light source will not change the color of the light.
• Deep Paint is a more vivid version of its base color, and is also required in order to paint certain objects. These include Statues, trees, and certain background walls (e.g. Cloud Walls), except in the case of White and Gray, which can be used on those objects without crafting the Deep variety first. Objects which are normally white or gray (e.g. Switches) will be at best very faintly colored, unless Deep paints are used.
• Regular and Deep Paint appear to apply their color differently – regular Paint appears to "re-tint" objects, changing existing colors to the new color, while Deep Paint seems to apply its color on top of the object. The inability to paint "monochrome"-colored objects like Gray Bricks with normal Paint seems to be a result of this behavior.
• If painted grass spreads to adjacent Dirt/Mud Blocks, it will spread the paint too. Tall grass and flowers growing on painted grass will also inherit the same paint. Acorn planted on painted grass will grow into a painted tree with the same paint.
