Pink Gel is a rare crafting material dropped by Pinky in stacks of 25–50. It is primarily used to craft "bouncy" versions of certain consumable items, as well as Restoration Potions. "Bouncy" items act like their normal variants, but bounce more times and more vigorously before losing momentum.

Crafting one of each item requires 22 Pink Gel, meaning that killing a single Pinky is sufficient to craft all items at least once.

Trivia

• While "bouncy" items never come to rest and will continue to bounce for quite some time, they lose energy, and given time will lose height until their bouncing more resembles perpetual rolling. This is true of all bouncy throwables, but is only truly observable with Bouncy Glowsticks, as the others explode well before this effect can occur.
• All slimes drop differently colored Gel (which spontaneously changes color when stacked with other colors), but Pink Gel is the only color of Gel that is an actual different item.
• Pink Gel was introduced following the suggestion by Terraria Community Forums user Ilmarinen.
• Pink Gel cannot be used as ammunition for the Flamethrower or the Elf Melter.
