The Platinum Watch is a high-tier watch. It enables an on-screen display of the in-game time, accurate to the last minute (one second in real time).

Its alternate ore counterpart is the Gold Watch.

Notes

  • (Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) Unlike most accessories, informational accessories such as the Platinum Watch do not need to be equipped in an accessory slot. The Platinum Watch may be carried in the player's inventory without loss of functionality (other than modifiers), unless equipped to a social slot. Additionally, the info it provides will be shared with players of the same team in multiplayer that are within 50 tiles.
  • It must be equipped to work in the Old-gen console version Old-gen console version. It will not display the time if it is in the inventory.

History

  • Desktop 1.3.0.1: Now works while in the inventory and time is displayed on the right side instead of the left.
  • Desktop 1.2.4: Fixed bug where watches show 2 colons ':' when displaying time.
  • Console 1.0.750.0: (PlayStation 4)
    • Sprite updated to match Desktop 1.3.1.
    • Now works while in the inventory and time is displayed on the right side instead of the left.
  • Mobile 1.3.0.7:
    • Now craftable, and functions correctly.
    • Now used to craft the 1 Second Timer and GPS/Cell Phone.
    • Now functions in the inventory.
