This article is about the ammunition. For seeds that can be planted, see Seeds. For the world feature that controls generation, see World Seed.
The Blowpipe firing Seeds.

The Seed is a pre-Hardmode dart. While a Blowpipe or Blowgun is in a player's inventory, there is a chance that any vegetation growing on normal grass, in Clay Pots, and in Planter Boxes will drop Seeds. Flowers typically drop 4 Seeds at a time, while tall grass typically drops 1–2 Seeds.

Notes

  • Seeds are dropped even if the grass is not cut by the player (e.g. by a Fallen Star).
