The Sky Crate is a pre-Hardmode crate that can only be fished in Space[a], e.g. in Floating Lakes. It contains items found in standard crates and always contains an item normally found in Skyware Chests (with the exception of the Sky Mill). Its Hardmode counterpart is the Azure Crate.

Tips

Sky Crates allow getting Floating Island's loot on Get fixed boi and For the worthy worlds without defeating Skeletron.

History

  • Desktop 1.4.4:
    • Stack limit increased from 99 to 9999.
    • Can now drop the Lucky Horseshoe again.
    • Can now drop the Celestial Magnet, Cloud, and six paintings.
    • Fledgling Wings are now in their own loot group and can thus now be dropped alongside the Starfury/Lucky Horseshoe/Shiny Red Balloon/Celestial Magnet.
    • Reduced drop chance of Fledgling Wings from 1/3 (33.33%) to 1/40 (2.5%).
    • Reduced drop chance of Starfury and Shiny Red Balloon from 1/3 (33.33%) to 1/4 (25%) each.
    • Reduced quantity of dropped ores from 30–49 to 20–35.
    • Reduced quantity of dropped bars from 10–20 to 6–16.
