The Snow Globe is a Hardmode event-summoning item used to summon the Frost Legion event. The player also must have at least 200 maximum health to initiate the event, but can then be used in any world at any time afterward. The Snow Globe has a 1/15 (6.67%) chance of being obtained from Presents (dropped during the Christmas event) opened specifically in Hardmode worlds.

Notes

• Snow Globes will only appear from Presents opened in a Hardmode world. While Presents can be obtained in pre-Hardmode worlds, their content depends on the world they are opened in, not where they are dropped.

Tips

• Even if the player brings a Snow Globe to a pre-Hardmode world (after Presents were opened in Hardmode world, see notes), it is not advisable to do so without preparation. The Frost Legion should only be summoned once the player has acquired Hardmode gear, as it is considerably stronger than, for instance, the Goblin Army.

Trivia

• The Snow Globe can be seen in the "Do You Want to Slay a Snowman?" achievement.
