The Star Fruit is a Hardmode food item that grants the Plenty Satisfied buff when consumed. This lasts for 5 minutes, but can be canceled at any time by right-clicking the icon (), by selecting the icon using Cycle Next/Previous Buff and then pressing Remove Buff (), or by double-tapping the buff icon ().

It has a small chance of dropping when shaking a Hallowed tree or Hallowed Palm tree.

Like all other food items, the Star Fruit can be placed on a Plate.

Trivia

• The real-world star fruit is a tropical fruit that grows in Southeast Asia. When cut in cross-section, it resembles a star.
• The Star Fruit and the Dragon Fruit are the only fruits to give the Plenty Satisfied buff instead of the Well Fed buff.
