The Strange Glowing Mushroom is a Hardmode pet-summoning item that spawns a Baby Truffle that follows the player. The Baby Truffle emits a small amount of blue light similar to Glowing Mushrooms. The Strange Glowing Mushroom can be purchased from the Truffle for 45 GC.

Notes

  • Unlike other pets, the Baby Truffle will not fly to the player should they go too far away. It simply disappears, reappearing at the player's position (or when the player lands), similar to how the player can go into stealth with the Shroomite armor.
  • Despite being a normal pet, the Baby Truffle gives off blue light.
