The Swarm Grenade is a pet-summoning item that spawns a Swarm Biter that follows the player. The Swarm Grenade can be purchased from the Zoologist for 10 GC during a Party.

  • If the player goes too far, the Swarm Biter disappears and emits a small puff of pink smoke (albeit, similar / identical to that of the Swarm Biter's color). It shows up again if the player gets grounded (lands on a block / platform / anything the player can land on) and emits the same puff of smoke when reappearing.
  • If the player is standing on a place that has insufficient blocks for the Swarm Biter to stand on as it reappears / moves, it is possible for the pet to fall down. And if the Swarm Biter falls down such that it goes out of the player's range (such that it disappears), it is also possible for the pet to repeatedly appear and disappear while the player is standing completely still.

Trivia

  • This item is part of a crossover with the game Dead Cells.
    • In Dead Cells, Swarm Grenades are not the only source of Biters, which usually appear in small groups to attack enemies.
