Omitted items

There is the question of whether or not we should list here the purposely omitted items once we find them or read the code. I suppose we keep the changelog more or less as the developer intended, aside from linking words where applicable -- but we'll definitely have to allow the automatic version categorization that occurs through the {{history}} template as pages are created for all the new items (Category:Entities introduced in 1.3.0.1). Whoever thinks to check there will see the complete list. Equazcion (talk) 17:22, 28 Jun 2015 (UTC)

I was hoping that a more "complete" changelog would be released with the actual update. My main concern in making this page was, again, consistency with other numbered update articles, but I don't necessarily think using the changelogs verbatim is the best course of action. I think a much shorter article detailing key new features and mechanics and actually explaining 1.3 would be preferable to a long, copypasted list- but at the same time I think the list should be somewhere on the wiki, and I don't think there's any value in editing that changelog to include more entries than it already has. Ideally it'd be a subpage or something, and categorization would account for the 800+ new lines that would otherwise have to be manually added. Gearzein (talk) 18:04, 28 June 2015 (UTC)
Couldn't there be an "undocumented changes" section underneath the current changelog that lists new items/changes that are found but aren't included in the main changelog? That avoids the issue of modifying the existing changelog from the devs, but would still allow users to easily see all of the known items/changes, and would mean that they wouldn't have to try and find places where all of them are listed. I do agree that there should be a page that gives an overview of the major changes, but there is definitely a benefit to having a full changelog listed on a separate page as well, for users that want to find out specifically how things have changed. --Omolong (talk) 18:09, 28 June 2015 (UTC)
The other version pages are more or less verbatim. And it does seem to me they released "the" changelog early in order to throw the fans a bone; I'm not expecting a second more complete log at release, but I guess we'll see. Assuming there won't be, I like the "undocumented changes" section idea. I don't really see a need for a separate page, unless we're looking to "hide" them somewhat, in honor of the developer's possible intention of keeping the new items a surprise that players must discover through playing. My instinct is to just list them here though as long we mark them as separate from the "official" log. Equazcion (talk) 18:32, 28 Jun 2015 (UTC)

Images?

Just kinda noticed it now but all the images are completely missing, were they deleted from the wiki? It seems... rather odd.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Racf92 (talk • contribs) at 17:45, 29 June 2015 (UTC)

Which images are you referring to? Equazcion (talk) 17:54, 29 Jun 2015 (UTC)

Everything, pretty much >~< all the citations are gone, the image icon for the 1.3 update is disappeared on my end, and there's literally no images to the right featuring all the videos, releases and teasers that there used to be. I'm not sure if this is because it's getting away from being all speculation or not but it feels odd. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Racf92 (talk • contribs) at 18:06, 29 June 2015 (UTC)

They still show up for me. The pages/images haven't been edited. Try refreshing your browser using ctrl-F5, or restarting your browser/device. Equazcion (talk) 18:08, 29 Jun 2015 (UTC)

I figured it out myself. Turns out that the 1.3 link originally directed to upcoming features, and I mistakenly thought that it did as well, when it was its own page now. My bad! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Racf92 (talk • contribs) at 18:27, 29 June 2015

Glad it worked out :) Equazcion (talk) 18:33, 29 Jun 2015 (UTC)

I'd mod the main page if I was more confident on doing such a thing; the "Dryad's Blessing" buff looks to be either a +8 Defense buff, or a +10% (decimal dropped) defense buff: my melee character has 89 Defense before buff and 97 after. Anjelika Starblade-Carter (talk) 04:09, 1 July 2015 (UTC)

Separate Console Release Dates?

When the X-Box version of 1.3 releases, I was wondering if we should include the separate release dates on each of the consoles. Just a little bit of clarification, thanks. Looniestcarton2 (talk) 18:55, 12 January 2018 (UTC)

Yes, we will include the dates of the releases along with the dates of any updates in the future on either console. There is a bug fix update soon for the PS4. – ReedemtheD3ad! (talk) 19:07, 12 January 2018 (UTC)
To clarify, the dates of future updates will go on the console version history page, not this 1.3.0.1 page. – ReedemtheD3ad! (talk) 19:10, 12 January 2018 (UTC)
