Damage Boosters

We should mention that both the arrows and the bows get a boost from damage boosters such as the Avenger emblem and probably other boosters as well. -Anon 20.14, 5 February 2014

Velocity

The arrow velocities listed seem incorrect. Hellfire arrows are listed as the fastest arrow type when in reality they are extremely slow. I'm new to the wiki and I may have made a mistake but the velocities seem completely wrong. Blobjim (talk) 18:37, 8 July 2015 (UTC)

This may be a similar problem to one the Bullets page had a short while ago. These velocity values are taken directly from the code, not accounting for how frequently the projectiles' positions are updated per game tick. This information needs to be pulled from the code and factored into the final velocity calculation. Gearzein (talk) 18:06, 8 July 2015 (UTC)

arrow effects?

whenever someone that understands how the types table works can get around to it, they ought to: A. address the note about incorrect damage values. Naturally, if the values are correct or once they are corrected, remove the note. B. I just now hoped to edit the page to add a "special effects" column, only to find that it's autogenerated. The buffs inflicted could be taken from the arrow data; the piercing and other special effects (stars, explosion...) might need an additional field in the data, such as simply "special". Types Header

Incorrctly lists oldgen arrows as "currently available in Terraria." I'd clarify the sentence myself, but it appears to not be accessible in the wikitext for the page for some reason. Nimta (talk) 09:44, 15 December 2023 (UTC)

Thanks, I've amended the sentence. It can't be edited directly here because it is produced by a template, which is indicated by the wikitext {{weapon type count|arrows}} underneath the heading. The part between the opening braces and the first vertical bar (or closing braces, if absent) is the name of the template: weapon type count.
