Talk:Butcher's Chainsaw

Aside from it's obvious superiority in the axe power department, this item is a formidable close range weapon. The Butcher's Chainsaw can be held out indefinitely, is a lot more powerful, close-range, than even the Terra Blade, (only the Meowmere and Terrarian surpass in raw melee damage, but are obtained only end-game, whereas the Butcher's Chainsaw may be obtained in the very early stages of hardmode), and the sparks jump to additional enemies at an extremely high velocity. In close quarter, zerg defense situations, or for direct damage, this item, used by the full load-out melee class, can destroy most enemies with extreme haste. Yes, this chainsaw is situational, but it's raw power has caused it to find it's way permanently into my melee character's hot bar. Livemike (talk) 05:59, 20 July 2015 (UTC)
