It seems like the 'can't be in the ocean biome' requirement for growing cactus might be broader than that - the cactus farm I'm trying to build below my bamboo farm hasn't grown any cactus yet but has spawned a couple of very out-of-place looking jungle bushes. 107.77.204.155 15:49, 26 June 2020 (UTC)

quick thing: on switch, cacti had differently colored purity/contamination-dependent map tiles, but they were all made green around 1.4.4 --JTanner2026 (talk) 19:25, 16 January 2024 (UTC) (edited to specify what console, i still don't know if the other console versions are the same with smaller details like this)
