Talk:Clockwork Assault Rifle

According to the page this gun is not fully compatible with Meteor shot, does anyone know if the same applies to Silver shot?

This does not apply to Silver Bullets, as Silver Bullets merely have higher damage than Musket Balls, not an added piercing effect. NightFuryis1143014 (talk) 21:26, 3

DPS vs. Megashark

The "List of Weapons" page says the DPS for the Clockwork Assault Rifle is 311 (which I double checked and seemed correct), 71 more damage than the Megashark's 230 DPS, but the Megshark is more recommended than the Clockwork Assault Rifle. Is there a reason why? Also, sorry if I did anything wrong while formatting. This is my first time using the wiki.

Seems the dps on the List of weapons page was off. The use time for the Clockwork Assault Rifle is 24 if you include the time it takes to fire all 3 bullets. In that case (Assuming you use Silver Bullets) the Megashark will do (23+9)*(60/6)=320 dps (not including defense), while the Clockwork Assault Rifle will do (19+9)*3*(60/24)=210 dps (not including defense). --0icke0 (talk) 11:00, 26 May 2013 (UTC)

regarding meteor shot

after playing around with the clockwork assault rifle and meteor shot, I've noticed that if you rebound the bullets off any surface before they hit their target, all 3 bullets will actually hit the target instead of phasing through it. So I think the issue has something to do with the piercing nature of the bullets. Probably how it's coded, something like after hitting a target, it sets some kind of expression to 'true' for pass thru for that target, and somehow that variable applies to all 3 bullets fired because you only consumed one ammo. Or something like that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.221.32.125 at 11:31, 6 June 2015

Meteor Shot can bounce once or penetrate once, not both. Meteor Shot fired from any weapon will only hit one target if it bounces first. This could be made a little clearer on Meteor Shot's page, but this isn't a unique attribute of any weapon. Gearzein (talk) 16:52, 6 June 2015 (UTC)
