Contender for best whip?
I'm not really into the summoner class, but shouldn't "three times the damage from the minion's attack" result in crazy damage with a Stardust Dragon Staff or are the "10% summon tag critical strike chance" from the Kaleidoscope still better in endgame? I just wanted to bring this up because ingame, the Firecracker tooltip tells us nothing about the 300%, so I might not be the only player overlooking this whip... --195.176.3.20 02:14, 10 June 2020 (UTC)
- This is not the best whip. try using some whips on bosses, and you will confirm why. It is not the best whip, as its range is bad, especiallly compared to Kaleidoscope. If you plan to use the firecracker on any hardmode boss, you will quickly figure out that it is highly extreme, as low range for whips makes you need to go to very near to the boss. And, in addition to that, it is basically impossible to hit moonlords eyes with it, as moonlords eyes are pretty far from the player. plus, kaleidoscope allows for MUCH better whip dps, as it has around 4x the damage of fireckracer, and has the best range of all whips.
