Health or Life?

Can someone explain to me why this page is called Health although the numeric factor is always referred to as Life in the game? --DoubleFloat (talk) 21:42, 26 October 2013 (UTC)

Life Drain

Shouldn't http://terraria.gamepedia.com/Life_Drain be under "Life draining"? 76.65.162.131 22:10, 7 July 2015 (UTC)

Possible error re: Blood moons?

This page gives a 140 minimum (2 heart crystals) for blood moons; the progression chart and Walkthrough both say 120/1 heart crystal. ETA: Similarly, this page claims 3 instead of 2 crystals to allow Slime Rain.--MentalMouse42 (talk) 14:24, 30 June 2019 (UTC)

This page was wrong – I checked the values in the Desktop version Desktop 1.3.5.3 source code. Thanks for pointing it out! --Rye Greenwood (talk) 23:29, 30 June 2019 (UTC)
Any chance you could take another look at the old source code or take a peek at the current source (or explain to me how to locate the source code and perhaps the relevant section)? I've been sitting at 120 health for some time, due to the ambiguity. (Other sources on the internet also suggest 140 for blood moons). I believe weeks or even months of game time now have passed and i've yet to see one. --Vulderbeak (talk) 04:03, 8 January 2021 (UTC)
The health requirement for a Blood Moon to occur is [math]\displaystyle{ \text{max health} \gt 120 }[/math]. It is this way in the current Desktop version Desktop 1.4.1.2, and it has been that way back in 1.3.5.3; looks like I made a mistake above there – sorry! Corrected that in the article. If you want to inspect the source code yourself, use a C#/.NET decompilation tool to decompile your Terraria.exe (trying to keep it as unspecific as possible here because I'm not sure about the legality of it, but I hope it is doable with a bit of online searching). The part where a Blood Moon is initiated is at the very bottom of the UpdateTime() method in Terraria.Main.cs. --Rye Greenwood (talk) 00:32, 10 January 2021 (UTC)
Yes i'm sure that's enough information that i will be able to figure out how to view the source if i find incentive in the future. Thank you. Was expecting to have to read it in assembly, so C# sounds pleasant despite not being entirely conversant in the language. And thank you for making the correction. --Vulderbeak (talk) 00:09, 13 January 2021 (UTC)
