- Well, prior to the 1.2.0.3 nerfing, I had a "Godly" Heat Ray. Now that it uses Mana, "Mythical" ought to be possible, but I have yet to return to the Goblin Tinkerer to verify.173.228.18.176 17:55, 6 November 2013 (UTC)

- No luck with a Coin or Discount Card from pirates? making a KillingMachineOfDeath also works :P I've made one in HM Hallow Ice Cavern so I get light souls on top of mimics and ice mimics and creatures in between... Upgrade
I don't think that the heat Ray can be considered an upgrade of the laser rifle and space gun. Their mechanics are completely different. The Heat Ray uses slow, piercing shots, whereas the others mentioned use fast short bursts that do not pierce or pierce very little. Kwonunn (talk) 07:12, 26 October 2018 (UTC)
