The trash slot is glitched. If you (for example) have 1 gel and some wood in your inventory, shift-click the gel, then make torches. The torches are made without consumption of the gel, thus resulting in duping the gel. --Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.106.83.66 (talk • contribs)

That's a pretty big deal. Could you do that with, say, Adamantite Ore? --Theothersteve7 15:51, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
Not that big a deal. You could always just use an inventory editor or something. But yes, you can eliminate 1 material from a crafting recipe completely by doing this, even if it's a bit tedious. The issue here seems to be that the recipe list doesn't update when you shift-click an item, and that clicking on a recipe doesn't actually check if you have the required materials in your inventory. --Lunboks 15:59, 16 December 2011 (UTC)

If you drag a weapon or tool (such as a boomerang or a harpoon) out of the inventory area, and left-click, it will use that object in the direction of your mouse cursor. -DFliyerz

I love that ability and have made quite a habit out of doing that. Usually when my hot bar is full of its usual tools and weapons, but I need to use a block as a steppingstone or consume a specific potion, ESC + click is great. The only risk is dropping your item if a second emergency occurs or you get disconnected. -Ceekur
Mainspace talk pages aren't really places for idle discussion. You'd be better off asking this sort of thing on the forums. Gearzein (talk) 23:27, 19 October 2014 (UTC)

Bug with the pet and the light pet

Once, I right-clicked the bufs and now, I have to active manually the pets each time I die... Did someone find how to correct that ?Lightg4 (talk) 17:09, 21 July 2015 (UTC)

Right-clicking the buff just disables the item's visibility. You can right-click the small "eye" icon on the item slot to turn the item's visibility on and off, just like with accessories. Gearzein (talk) 21:59, 23 July 2015 (UTC)
