Lihzarhd (NPC)

I think what Flickerbell meant is that the Lihzarhd is not 100% immune to knockback. Unlike the others on this list. They are highly resistant though, like Unicorns, Giant Tortoises etc. I have already seen Lihzarhds on their four legs getting knockback if you hit them with a weapon such as the Paladin's Hammer for instance. Where a Paladin, a Headless Horseman or a Pirate Captain won't budge even from a pixel if you hit them with it. --Fegazeus (talk) 09:26, 27 November 2013 (UTC)

According to the source code Unicorns and Giant Tortoises are 70% resistant to knockback, while Lihzahrds (in their second form), Headless Horseman and Pirate Captain are 100% resistant. --0icke0 (talk) 11:29, 27 November 2013 (UTC)
Yes, you were right, just tested it for myself. I was probably misled by the knockback I inflict to them with the last hit before they get to 2nd form since I kill them in two hits with the Paladin's Hammer. --Fegazeus (talk) 13:00, 27 November 2013 (UTC)

Weapons inflicting the most knockback

I'm pretty sure the Gray and Orange Zapinator are the weapons that can actually inflict the most knockback. Their beams have a 1/20 chance to multiply their knockback by 10 upon hit, but a 10% knockback decrease is also incurred every hit, so the maximum possible knockback increase is 9. They can hit 7 times before disappearing upon hitting an 8th enemy, meaning their knockback can reach [math]\displaystyle{ 6*9^7 = 28,697,814 }[/math], assuming a base knockback of 6.

While it is true that the Jousting Lances' knockback is theoretically unlimited, the player would need to be incredibly fast to match this. The formula for the lances' knockback is [math]\displaystyle{ \text{kb} = v * k * \frac{44}{1575} }[/math]. Assuming a base knockback of 14 (Shadow Jousting Lance):

[math]\displaystyle{ \begin{align} \text{kb} = &\ v * 14 * \frac{44}{1575} \\ 28697814 = &\ v * \frac{616}{1575} \\ v = &\ 28697814 \div \frac{616}{1575} \\ v = &\ 73375092.61 \\ \end{align} }[/math]

The player would need to move at more than 73 million mph, which is not possible as far as I'm aware. MappyGaming's video on YouTube shows that the player is just not accelerating further than circa 189,000 mph. I'd also expect the game to crash at such an incredibly high movement speed.

Therefore, I amended the article to mention the Zapinators as the weapons with the highest knockback potential (even if the chance is extremely low).
