Bugs

I was using this on a target dummy in my house once, and I realized that when close enough (10ish tiles) I could damage a target dummy through walls, when the cursor was merely in the general direction of the dummy, and nowhere within the actual range of the cursor. this weapon appears to have many bugs, hope they fix it. in the meantime, it working and giving life regen even when not actually focused at a dummy may allow for an interesting grinder setup. 50.0.206.247 02:33, 22 October 2016 (UTC)

Healing per second

It seems to me that the statistic of 25 healing per second with this item is wrong. It seems more like 2.5 healing per second. Can anyone verify? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Frankward (talk • contribs) at 13:51, 22 June 2018

unnecesarry

in the trivia, it says "it is able to drain life even from enemies that lack flesh.' what? there is nothing that opposes this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 103.224.161.163 at 01:53, 2 December 2019 (UTC)

User:Super4gedittank added this item of trivia (see this edit), with the original wording of "It is able to drain life from most enemies, even including non-flesh ones." I don't fully agree with this either, but I didn't want to flat out remove it. I assume the fact that the Life Drain is Crimson-related, a flesh-themed biome, might suggest it only works with enemies that have flesh. Super4gedittank will probably be able to explain their intention better, though. --Rye Greenwood (talk) 15:01, 2 December 2019 (UTC)

Blood Reference?

Although it's not listed on the page, I believe this may be a reference to the Life Leach from Blood. Both are skulls on sticks that use magic to give the user health back and have similar names. Should we add this to trivia? --Burnttoastplus (talk) 03:21, 13 April 2020 (UTC)

We have a set of trivia rules that generally prohibits speculation about possible references to other media. I understand and agree that there are some similarities, but it may have also been just an inspiration (maybe even an unconscious one); it is not necessarily a reference. Until there is confirmation about it from the developers, we'll have to hold off adding this to the page. --Rye Greenwood (talk) 11:39, 13 April 2020 (UTC)
