Verifying my Nightmare Pickaxe edit regarding mining Green Bricks in the Dungeon

Here's my experience that I spoke in detail with Leinfors the Quality Assurance/Moderator over at forums.terraria as a PM.

05/18/2020 3:11 PM "'ve had the Nightmare pickaxe for awhile now and started the Dungeon just before the 1.4 update. After the update that pickaxe can only mine Green Bricks near the top of the Dungeon. I initially noticed(post update) that the NM pickaxe was at 60% PA power and able to mine these bricks, but it did not work. So I recalled fishing for a Reaver Shark PA which showed up after the update as still 100% PA power. So I upgraded my fishing pole to Fisher of Souls, made some Sonar Potions with the few Coral I had at the Alchemy Table along with several fishing potions, grabbed a bunch of good bait and went fishing without luck. So I mined for Coral from beneath the Ocean to the point of lowering it by about 10 blocks (ha), made more potions and had at it again. This time I was successful and obtained 2 Reaver Sharks PAs. All excited I headed to the Dungeon to mine Green Bricks and the same thing happened, I could mine a few near the top of the Dungeon, but none below. I looked up the RS PA and it was downscaled to 59%.... literally "A day in the life" experience and frustrating. Any suggestion, a solution or workaround would be truly welcomed.

I know you're very busy with the growing pains of this amazing update! I tried to solve this on my own but can't seem to find any posts or solutions that address this issue.
